Over 1200 BASE jumps were completed during
KL Tower International BASE Jump Merdeka Circuit 2008
In August 2008, 10 Malaysian BASE jumpers and one Australian BASE jumper travelled around Malaysia to the states of Sarawak, Sabah, Kedah, Penang and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur to BASE jump off 6 different buildings.
In Kuala Lumpur they were joined by almost 40 other international BASE jumpers from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Latvia, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, UK and USA.

Jump Dates: 15th, 16th and 17th August - 3 days of jumping

Jump Date: 23th August - 1 day of jumping

Location: Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
Jump Height: 980 feet
Jump Dates: 29th, 30th and 31st August - 3 days of jumping
- Menara Telekom Malaysia
Location: Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
Jump Height: 800 feet
Jump Dates: 31st August - 3 hours of jumping.

The highest number of jumps completed on the tour of events was made by Gary Cunningham who completed 154 BASE jumps.
