Jumping from Menara Telekom Malaysia took place on the morning of 31st August.
It was a nice bonus building the BASE jumpers that were taken there.
However, the irresponsible organising caught up with an inexperienced BASE jumper that should have never been invited there. Aziz Ahmad had brought an Indonesian skydiver who had no BASE jumping experience. He was given little or no training and was left to copy what he saw other experienced BASE jumpers were doing at KL Tower. On one jump at KL Tower he jumped off and turn around to face the tower and deployed facing the tower. He got a 180° off heading opening away from the tower so all was okay Then he was taken to the Telecom Malaysia building where he tried the same thing. This time he did not get a 180 and slammed into the building most of the way down. Inexperienced BASE jumpers should be trained properly.
